The Book Blast is a collaborative Kindle promotion where participating authors work together to introduce one another's books to new readers.

Instead of competing for attention, we combine our audiences, share one another's books, and create greater visibility together.

During the promotion:

• Every participating book is featured on The Author Collab website.
• Each author receives professionally designed marketing resources.
• Authors share the event through email and social media.
• Participants purchase and support fellow authors' books.
• Readers discover outstanding books for 99¢ or less.

HOW IT WORKS

The Book Blast is designed to make collaborative promotion easy for participating authors.

Here's what you can expect:

1. Join the Waitlist

Interested authors begin by joining our Book Blast waitlist. When a new event is announced, waitlist members are among the first to receive the dates, theme or categories, participation details, and application information.

2. Apply for an Upcoming Book Blast

When applications open, you'll submit your book for consideration. Because each Book Blast is intentionally limited in size, participation is not automatically guaranteed.

Some future Book Blasts may also focus on specific genres, themes, or types of books so that we can create promotions that make sense for both authors and readers.

3. Get Ready Together

Once accepted, participating authors receive everything they need to prepare for the event, including important dates, promotional guidelines, marketing copy, graphics, and other resources.

We'll tell you what you need to do—and when—so you're not left trying to figure it out on your own.

4. Make Your Book Promotion-Ready

Before the event begins, participating authors make sure their Kindle book is properly priced and ready for readers.

This is also a great time to review your Amazon book page, description, author profile, categories, and other details so that when new readers discover your book, you're putting your best foot forward.

5. We Promote Together

This is where the collaboration begins.

During the Book Blast, participating authors share the promotion with their own audiences through email and the social media platforms they already use.

Instead of one author promoting one book to one audience, many authors are introducing many books to many different audiences.

That shared visibility is what makes collaborative promotion so powerful.

6. Support Your Fellow Authors

The Book Blast isn't only about asking other authors to promote your book.

It's about showing up for theirs, too.

Participating authors purchase the featured books, follow and connect with fellow authors, share their successes, and leave honest reviews whenever appropriate.

Everyone contributes. Everyone gets supported.

7. Keep the Momentum Going

The Book Blast may have an ending date, but the relationships and visibility created through it don't have to end there.

Authors may discover new collaborators, readers may discover new favorite writers, and participating authors may be considered for additional opportunities through The Author Collab™, including Beyond the Book author interviews, showcases, articles, and future collaborative promotions.
